TEDxYouth 2022

Hi! It is our pleasure to welcome you, on behalf of the lead organizers and core team, to the TEDxYouth @ ACSBeirut website!

TEDx is an independently organized TED event, which takes a local approach to the worldwide phenomenon of “ideas worth spreading”. The goal is to inform and educate the community through talks which may range from a wide variety of topics and are given by eager volunteers in our community. These short, inspirational talks spark meaningful conversations and connections by provoking our thoughts.

We began a TEDx initiative at ACS Beirut because we believe in the power and spirit of bonding together in light of celebrating the passionate individuals who seek the opportunity to share their ideas.

People are notorious for procrastinating; they come up with an endless list of excuses. Instead of continuing the cycle, take control of your ‘remote of life’. Everyone has one. But each one of us has control over their own buttons.

Keeping our community in mind, we are all responsible for the bigger ‘remote’ which we all must contribute to, to evolve.

We are pleased to announce that the TEDxYouth @ ACSBeirut 2022 event is currently in the works, and the executive team positions are open to any high schooler in the 2022-2023 AY.

What makes you smile? What makes you wonder? What are you passionate about?

We invite you all to share your unique ideas, thoughts, and perspectives with members of the ACS community during the second annual TEDxYouth @ ACSBeirut.

Your TED Talk will be filmed, and an edit will be posted on the TEDx YouTube Channel. Just as with all speakers, we would work together ahead of time to craft the talk. Your talk could be up to 18 minutes, covering any themes or topics you're interested in.
