Clubs and Activities

Overview

After School Explorers is an auxiliary fee-based program open to all students in Grades 1 through 5. Covering a broad and balanced range of activities - including arts, sports and STEM - the program encourages students to follow their passions, improve their skills and to try out new interests in a fun and engaging setting.

The Details

Explorers runs all year each weekday from 3:30 to 5:00 pm and on Saturday mornings. The year is divided into three seasons, with select activities available year-round. Students may enroll in multiple activities, space permitting, as enrollment per activity is capped at 10 to 15 students.

All activities are co-ed and led by qualified teachers and, in some cases, by specially trained outside entities such as the Lyne Ghandour Dance Academy, The Little Engineer, BMB Smart Robotics, Bildits, and The Keshmat Chess Club. On Saturdays, parents are invited to attend activities as spectators, and each activity culminates in an end-of-season show, exhibition, or game. Program fees are calculated based on the number of sessions enrolled in per season.

Our 35+ clubs and activities in the middle and high school reflect the interests and efforts of our students and teachers. Middle school students can join a number of extra-curricular activities including Young Entrepreneurs, LEBMUN, Makerspace, Choir Club, Chess Club, and Student Council, that meet during lunch period or after school. 

In keeping with our belief in student empowerment, most high school activities are student-organized and led. At the beginning of each school year, HS club leaders host a Club Fair for new students that showcase the wide range of interests and activities represented on campus. A WIN (What I Need) block scheduled once an academic cycle provides dedicated time, in addition to after school, for club members to meet. For a complete list of clubs, please click here.
