WHAT IS SUMMER IN THE CITY?
For ACS Alumni, Summer in the City (SITC) is a chance to meet alumni who live closeby. SITC events take place during those summers when there is no All-Alumni Triennial Reunion.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
SITC is a purely volunteer event, run by alumni for alumni. If you’re looking to organize an event, please contact the ACS Office of Development and Alumni Relations and request a list of the known alumni who live in the area you’ve chosen. The list will include their last known street address, phone number, and e-mail. Pick a restaurant that will hold the number of people you expect, which will hopefully be 15 or more, and talk to the restaurant about potential dates and times. Then get to work contacting alumni on your list. You’ve just put together a Summer in the City!
