Please consider supporting future generations of leaders by making a gift to ACS Beirut. Your gift is a message to the wider community that you are honoring the legacy of our outstanding Faculty who has influenced you and making an ACS education possible for our students. Gifts have ranged from one dollar to $100,000 but it is more critical that all our Alumni participate in some way.
In the June 2016 edition of The Diaspora Potrezebie the Board of Governors announced its decision to cease asking the membership to pay dues which are non-tax-deductible for those filing US income taxes, but instead to ask the membership to make tax-deductible donations to fund AA/ACS’ annual operating costs. This donation-based financing approach is consistent with the financial support systems used by many other tax-exempt organizations.
As stated in the newsletter, the membership will receive an annual appeal for donations to fund AA/ACS’ operating costs and to support the Malcolm Kerr Endowment Fund for scholarships. Your association’s primary costs are publishing the quarterly editions of the newsletter and providing the startup budget for the triennial reunions.
On behalf of the Board of Governors, I am asking for your financial support. Please consider making a minimum donation of $25 to the Alumni Association General Fund, but any amount is welcomed. You can also download a Print and Mail Gift Form.
The success of this solicitation is very important for AA/ACS, so please donate. Without your financial support, AA/ACS cannot continue to serve its membership and the school.
This fund was established in his memory by the Alumni Association to provide financial aid for high school students who have demonstrated academic, athletic, and / or leadership promise.

The Annual Fund is ACS’s annual fundraising campaign to provide important, unrestricted support to the school. Unrestricted gifts provide a crucial bridge between tuition revenue and the actual cost of running the school, offering relief to the operating budget and directly affecting students, faculty and educational programs. Most importantly, unrestricted gifts, regardless of the size, allow the school to respond to our most pressing financial concerns and provide the flexibility to seize unique and important opportunities.
