Over 240 Middle School and High School students, playing on 14 different teams; Rugby, Volleyball, Cross Country, Swimming and in the NESAC Academic Games were honored among their peers during two different assemblies that took place just before the November break.

With the manpower of more than 30 coaches and assistants, students were trained and practiced for the games and fall conferences under the direction of Ms. Oleigue Feghaly, the new Assistant Athletic Director and Mr. Joe Toler, the ACS Athletic Director. Mr. Toler said “This was the start of many firsts for ACS: we joined a new conference, we formally started and hosted an Academic Games team and competition (with over 100 competitors from Dubai, Kuwait, and Qatar); our XC (Cross Country) teams participated in the Beirut Marathon …” It was a busy fall indeed.

During the assembly, the following students received special Awards:
