After dividing themselves into the teams, the students started their day with a lecture on structures for the spaghetti bridge competitors and a lecture on aerodynamics for the paper airplane competition.

Students got to meet the world champion for aerobatics flight - “Avedis Tchamitchian (LEB), the winner of “Aerobatics” of the Red Bull Paper Wings World Final 2015.”

ACS students competed against about 70 other students from five different schools, producing impressive results, landing in first place for both longest flight time and longest flight distance, and in second place for both categories.

First place for longest flight time: The winning team of Taymour N., Hadi A. and Kareem H., received a prize of LL 750,000.

First place for longest flight distance: The winning team of Kareem D. and Danny E. grabbed a LL7 50,000 prize.
