Our Community

WhyACS

The ACS community is a tight-knit collection of families, students, faculty and staff, all working together to form a supportive and joyful school environment.

We at ACS have a deep connection to each other and our school. For many of us, it is not just a place of employment or learning. It is a second home where we share a set of values and expectations and enjoy mutual support and respect. We are fortunate to have an outstanding group of Parent Volunteers who help plan, sponsor and host a variety of memorable events such as Splash Fest, the Winter Holiday Carnival, Fright Night, and other fundraising efforts. Other ways for parents to become involved include serving as a Classroom or Grade-Level Parent, a guest speaker or presenter at a student event, or as a member of our elected Parents’ Committee.

We foster student well-being and class cohesion via a robust Social and Emotional Learning Program, student retreats, advisory groups and themed activities.

Equally important, we show our appreciation for faculty and staff via school-sponsored professional development programming and social gatherings to celebrate their dedication and achievement.
