Dear ACS Families,
Congratulations to your children for completing another successful year at ACS! I couldn't have been happier with all that our students were able to accomplish this year, both in the classroom and out. To see our students performing on stage and athletic fields, hosting important events like the Model United Nations Conference, and devoting hours of their time to important community service activities was truly inspiring.
Our high school commencement ceremony at AUB's Assembly Hall was the perfect culmination of our seniors' educational journey, and the 8th grade and 5th grade promotion ceremonies were also wonderful tributes to our students and the work of our teachers. These events highlight some of the unique qualities of an ACS education, especially the connection that our students have to their teachers, their fellow students, and their school.
I want to thank students, teachers, and parents for dealing with the many challenges we encountered this year as a result of the terrible situation in Gaza. Being able to provide an uninterrupted educational experience in a place that truly feels like a second home is so important in uncertain times. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support throughout.
I hope all members of our extended ACS family have a wonderful summer break. I want to wish our recent graduates every success as they embark on their university careers, and I will look forward to welcoming all returning families back to campus in early September.
Sincerely,
