Dear ACS Families, I am writing today to announce the ancillary fee schedule for the 2024/2025 academic year. After consultation with the Parents' Committee, we have decided to return to the incremental price increases at various grade levels that are in the same proportion as pre-crisis tuition levels. While this change in the fee schedule will present only a modest increase for our earliest grade levels, the fees increase more dramatically at the middle and high school levels. As a non-for-profit school, our tuition and fees simply cover the annual operating costs of the school. With the exception of taxes we pay to the Lebanese government, nearly all other expenses must be paid in US dollars. This includes the salaries and benefits for all ACS faculty and staff, which helps us to achieve our goal of recruiting and retaining talented faculty and staff. Next year's increase represents the final significant increase in the process of returning to normal ACS tuition and fees. |
