Dear ACS Families,

With just a week and a half until the winter break, I know it's a very busy time of the year for everyone.  I do, however, have a few important announcements.

First, as of yesterday, December 8, ACS is now mask optional.  The small viral meningitis outbreak at IC has been contained and the threat to our community has been alleviated.  Students and ACS employees are welcome to continue to wear masks if they would like to do so, but they are not required.

Second, we have been working closely with Gourmet Royale, our food service provider, to continue to refine and evolve the lunch program with input from our internal food service team as well as from our students and parents.  In an effort to get additional feedback, we are encouraging parents to complete this survey about the food service program.  We hope to conduct food service surveys 2-3 times per year.

Third, we have two vacant spots on our Parents Committee that we'd like to fill after the holiday break.  Information related to nominations and elections will be communicated in the next newsletter. 

Regarding the holiday break, please know that all ACS offices will be closed from December 23 through January 8, as per a directive issued by the Ministry of Education.
