Dear ACS Families,
Tomorrow, we celebrate the 111th graduation ceremony for the ACS class of 2022. This marks the culmination of a remarkable educational journey for our seniors. Much of their high school tenure was disrupted by events in Lebanon and then the global pandemic. They endured the challenges of remote learning as well as disruptions to normal social interactions. I'm grateful that our seniors had a relatively normal year this year and commend them on their perseverance in navigating these difficult times. Congratulations to all our seniors for a job well done.
Please note that all people attending the ACS graduation at Assembly Hall on the AUB campus must present proof of vaccination and must have a face mask. Also, because capacity is limited, entry to the ceremony is limited to those who have tickets. For those of you who are not able to attend, the link to the live streaming is here.
The next few weeks are busy with end-of-year testing, activities, and celebrations. We hope that all students finish the school year in the best possible way as they move into a well-deserved summer holiday.
Finally, I would like to announce that we have selected a food provider for our school next year. After reviewing the bids of three companies, we have decided to award the contract to Gourmet Royale. Gourmet Royale currently runs the high school food kiosk on the roof of the BD Building, and they have a long working relationship with ACS. We look forward to working with them to ensure the best possible food program for our students and staff.
Sincerely,
