Dear ACS Families, Spring is here. The windows and doors of our school are open, and cool breezes keep our classrooms well ventilated. There are only 80 reported active Covid cases in Lebanon at the moment, and we have zero active cases in our school community. We have gone too long without seeing each other's smiling faces. As someone who is new to ACS myself, I know how challenging it is to get to know people when a mask impedes the connection. With that said, we have decided to remove the indoor mask requirement for the remainder of the school year. We will continue to monitor the Covid situation over the coming weeks, of course, but it appears that the current risk of transmission is very small. I'm so proud of the fact that we were able to remain open for in-person learning for the entire 2021/22 school year. I'm grateful for the efforts of our Response Team, our faculty and staff, our students, and our families for doing everything they could to keep our community safe. This year was our first substantial step on the road to normal. Next year will be even better. Sincerely, |
