Admissions decisions are based on the following considerations:

• the applicant’s demonstrated ability to meet the academic and social-developmental benchmarks of his or her prospective grade level,
• alignment between the family’s educational goals and beliefs with the philosophy and teaching approaches of ACS,
• ACS’s ability to maintain a balance of diversity across grade levels and divisions, and
• ACS’s current availability of resources to provide support and opportunities for the applicant.

Please bear in mind the following: 

• ACS accepts applications throughout the year for candidates arriving from abroad who are applying for Nursery through Grade 8. Candidates for Grades 9 through 12 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Each submitted application requires an online payment of a non-refundable 105 USD application fee. This fee covers the costs associated with processing the application.
• The Admissions Timeline Calendar for 2025-2026 can be downloaded here.
• Nursery applicants must have turned three years of age and be toilet-trained by September 30th of the enrolling year. KG I and KG II applicants must be four and five years old respectively by September 30th of the enrolling year. Grade 1 students must be six years old, and so on, through Grade 12.
• Students who do not meet the age requirements for Nursery are encouraged to consider our Bright Beginnings Daycare Program.

✔ Academic Records

• Full transcripts for the past three school years.
• Report cards not in English must include translations.

✔ MAP Test Results

• Results from the past two years.

✔ Identification Documents

• Student’s passport or Lebanese ID.
• Recent Lebanese Civil Status Record.
• Recent passport-sized photograph.
• Birth certificate required for Early Childhood applicants (Nursery–Grade 2).

✔ Teachers’ Recommendations

• Kindly provide teacher recommendation letters.

✔ Specialist Reports (if applicable)

• Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Assessments from educational psychologists, occupational therapists, or speech and language therapists.

✔ Non-Lebanese Program Applicants

• Regardless of nationality, please provide equivalency documentation from the Lebanese Ministry of  Education (if applicable).

Have a Question? Our Admissions Team is always ready to assist you and guide you through the online application process.

Once all parts of the online application are submitted and the application fee is paid, the admissions committee will begin the application review. Upon completion of this process, the applicant will receive one of the following notifications:

• a letter of acceptance,

• a letter of regret stating that ACS is not able to offer your child admission, or

• a letter confirming a place in our wait pool until spots are available.
