A New Middle School Science Wing

Science laboratory classes and robotics sessions will soon take on a new life for Middle School students, thanks to the completely revamped and relocated Middle School Science Wing, which is scheduled to be inaugurated by Fall 2016-2017.

The beautifully and pleasantly designed floor consists of many features, including an open space which turns the labs into an appealing learning environment. The floor also has a dynamic design where several classes could take place at the same time in various open spaces. The open floor plan also makes for an ideal venue for science fairs, STEAM-a-Thons, Health Day and other learning-centered activities.

Project work and team work are bound to become more fun in an instructional space and labs that include the required safety equipment.

The cutting-edge maker space with 3D printers and maker-tools provide learners with the opportunity to apply the STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math) approach in a creative and innovative manner.

Coding classes will turn more exciting in the robotics lab where students can use new technologies, such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino, in order to build their own robots.

In the conference room, students can also connect and communicate with students from other schools all over the world and discuss topics of mutual importance and interest. What’s more, students will find all the tools they need in the filming room in order to produce quality movies that demonstrate what they have learned.
