Bright Beginnings Daycare

Bright Beginnings is a Reggio Emilia inspired daycare providing services for children of ACS faculty, staff, as well as families of the ACS greater community. We also accept children of families outside the ACS community if space is available.

The Reggio Emilia is a developmentally appropriate approach that engages children in creative and meaningful learning activities. Children learn by actively connecting with the world around them. Through interactions with adults, peers, and the objects in their environment, children are constantly in the process of constructing knowledge.

At the heart of the Reggio philosophy is the belief that children are full of curiosity and creativity, rather than empty vessels waiting to be filled with facts and figures. Our Reggio-inspired curriculum is flexible and emerges from children’s ideas, thoughts and observations. Our goal is to cultivate in children a lifelong passion for learning and exploration.
