Welcome to the Middle School webpage, a warm and welcoming place.  Students and faculty from Lebanon and around the world work together in an academically challenging program that prepares our students for high school. As a middle school community we have developed a safe learning environment. This has been achieved by developing a deep sense of respect for self and others, and encouraging responsible behavior in our students.

The middle school years are often signaled by significant physical, emotional, and social changes. Students at this age are making the transition from childhood to adolescence; that’s why we have developed a program specifically catered to meet these needs. We aim to keep class sizes small enough so that each student receives individualized attention. We teach students to become more independent, self-reliant, and self-aware. Advisors support students in small groups, promoting good study habits and social interactions.

The faculty and staff are professionals that take pride in their work. They are constantly working to provide their students with an excellent standard of education through differentiated instruction, infusion of technology, real life experiences, dynamic student teacher interactions and a clear understanding of middle school students.  Our main emphasis is the whole-child, focusing not only on their academic, but also their social, physical and emotional development.

Sincerely

Karim Abu-Haydar
