Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to the
2010-2011 school year!
On behalf of high school, we invite you to become a
part of the exciting things happening at The American Community
School at Beirut (ACS). As a student, parent, alumni, or
community member you play an important role in the past, present,
and future of ACS. Let us always be conscious of where we
have been, where we are now, and all of the great things that are
yet to come. Pride and tradition are two important elements
in any school but ACS is not restricted to just these. ACS is
a dynamic place where creativity and innovation is encouraged
and welcomed!
Our first and
foremost goal is to help your child start his or her “new
beginning” towards a successful high school year. In
order to help accomplish this goal, we will be working on providing
a rigorous and relevant curriculum in a nurturing
environment. We ask that you help us help your children by
ensuring that they attend regularly and are prepared to
learn.
I expect that
all faculty and students at ACS will work together to help each
other reach their fullest potential. We are all part of the
ACS community, and everyone will be treated with dignity and
respect. We will encourage any behavior or action that helps
an individual grow and mature. Faculty, along with parents, I
trust, will all keep students focused on our school guidelines,
help guide them as they set their goals, and motivate them as they
strive to realize their dreams.
I am honored to serve as the high school principal at ACS and I
look forward to a wonderful school year. If I can be of
assistance to you, feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,

Fabio
