ACS Hosts First GAFE Summit in Lebanon November 17-18, 2017
The American Community School Beirut in collaboration with EdTechTeam is hosting the Google Applications For Education (GAFE) Beirut Summit, November 17th and 18th on the ACS Campus.
As 21st Century technology is rapidly developing, the ACS Beirut community would like to invite you to the GAFE in Lebanon. It will be an excellent learning experience for anyone who is interested in current thinking in education or using technology tools in their classroom.
Some of the workshops offered include:
- What on Earth
- Creating Basic Screencasts with YouTube
- Posing as a #SheetsGeek
- Going Mobile with Google
- Introduction to Makerspaces – Fear NO More
- Supporting Reading and Writing with Texthelp’s Tool for Google
There are 8 morning / afternoon sessions scheduled over the two day summit. All sessions offer a minimum of 6 different options giving participants a choice of at least 42 different classes.
Other highlights include the Keynote Speakers - Holly Clark, Jim Sill and Ken Shelton with Spotlight Speakers Monica Martinez, Jay Atwood, Blake Everhart and Kevin Sherman.
